Using your device as barcode scanner with syncX: SKU & Barcode Scan
Quick Scan now includes an in-app barcode scanner, allowing you to use your device’s camera to scan product barcodes directly.
This feature is supported on most desktop and mobile browsers.
On iPads and iPhones, the in-app scanner is currently only available through the Safari browser.
Note: The scanner is not supported within the Shopify mobile app.
How to Use:
Open Quick Scan in your browser.
Click the camera icon next to the barcode input field.
Grant permission to use your device’s camera.
Hold the product's barcode in front of the camera to begin scanning.
This provides a convenient alternative to using a physical barcode scanner.
